2012 What an Awakening....(Audio)
In this exclusive audio interview, Charlotte Robinson discusses the 2012 phenomenon with Richard Emmanuel, the founder of The Church, a non-profit organization in East Gloucester, Massachusetts, which is dedicated to raising individual & collective consciousness & increasing spiritual awareness. As we approach the year 2012 there are so many theories from Armageddon & Doomsday predictions to a Religious Apocalypse. Hollywood is providing major disaster films with 2012 to be released this November. The government in preparation for this event has been launching millions of dollars worth of satellites to monitor the Sun. They’ve also spent millions to mortify equipment to withstand a possible solar blackout. Ancient Mayan astronomers were aware of this rare alignment of the Earth, Sun & center of the Milky Way on the winter solstice December 21 2012. According to this belief, the alignment is tied to the precession of the equinoxes & signals a transition from one world age to another. It also marks the end of their calender. A New Age interpretation of this transition suggests that during this time, the planet & its inhabitants may undergo a physical or spiritual transformation rather than an Armageddon. Exacerbating this issue is a virtual deluge of often-confusing & overwhelming information. Emmanuel brings clarity to the 2012 phenomenon by addressing the emotional & physical ramifications it could have on our changing world. More Info: TheChurch.org

Obama's Gay Agenda? (Audio)
“Meet in the Middle 4 Equality”, the California LGBT group that is organizing a statewide rally the first Saturday after the California Supreme Court Prop 8 decisions, is launching a national letter writing campaign aimed at Barack & Michelle Obama. Since President Obama has been in office the gay word has not publicly passed from his lips. In this exclusive audio interview, Charlotte Robinson presents the conclusion of her two part series with Robin McGehee, lead organizer of Meet in the Middle 4 Equality, who compassionately states we should take the necessary steps to bring national awareness to our LGBT issues. McGehee is urging our community & their allies to write letters to the first family stressing the importance of passing national legislation for equal rights, benefits & protection for our LGBT families. Perhaps when the Obamas read our stories they will be compelled to address our basic civil rights. The next step is camping OUT @ the White House this summer to bring attention to promises Obama made during his campaign but has yet to act on. UPDATED MAY 1th 2009: Obama changed Civil Rights on the White House website What he had stated "While we have come a long way since the Stonewall riots in 1969, we still have a lot of work to do. Too often, the issue of LGBT rights is exploited by those seeking to divide us. But at its core, this issue is about who we are as Americans. It's about whether this nation is going to live up to its founding promise of equality by treating all its citizens with dignity and respect." Eloquently said but it has been removed!! Updates to Come... For More Info: Meet in the Middle 4 Equality

Queer Eye on the Economy (Audio)
In this audio interview Charlotte Robinson chats with Rosemary White, President of Strong Financial Group in Cambridge, MA, to get the queer eye on the economy. Our LGBT community are major players in this economy. As Neil Giuliano, President of the Gay Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), stated at the GLAAD MEDIA AWARDS in NYC, our LGBT community has a buying power of 712 billion dollars annually. While the Obama administration goes after Wall Street mafia, financial advisors are left with damage control for millions of unhappy clients. Ms. White addresses some of our LGBT community’s money concerns in these challenging economic times. So how bad will things get before it gets better? Last month 663,000 jobs were lost in this country bringing total jobs lost since the beginning of the recession to 5.1 million. Even Suze Orman has changed her tune & is advising her audience to pay minimum payments on credit cards & stash their cash. Ms. White answers the tough questions of where's the safest place to put our money & the smart moves we should be making now to secure our chance for retirement. On a personal note, Rosemary White is openly gay & legally married to her spouse Mary. She candidly discusses the hardships of not having federal rights & protections for her family.

Equality Forum's National LGBT Rally...:)
(Audio) Malcolm Lazin, Director & Founder of Equality Forum, discusses in this exclusive audio interview this year’s Global Equality Forum taking place in Philadelphia, April 27th to May 3rd. On May 3rd join San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, Bishop Gene Robinson, LGBT organizations, grassroots activists & straight allies from across the nation for the National Equality Rally @ Independence Hall & the Liberty Bell. On the site where the Gay Pioneers launched our LGBT movement with protests every Fourth of July from 1965 to 1969, this is an opportunity to be heard & create new history!
With the election of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States, our LGBT community is positioned to effect the most significant change in our history. Barack Obama stated: “It is wrong to have millions of Americans living as second-class citizens in this nation. And I ask for your support in this election so that together we can bring about real change for all LGBT Americans.”
It’s time to rally & show how imperative it is that we lay claim to our agenda. This event could prove to be the most important rally of 2009. Call on Congress & our new President for passage of trans-inclusive hate crimes legislation & the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). We need to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” & the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).
As Harvey Milk said: “All men are created equal. No matter how hard they try, they can never erase those words. That is what America is about.” Our time is now!
